Our 25x50mm Blue treated softwood roof batten is pressure treated and conforms to BS5534 standards. As well as being treated our 2×1 batten is sawn and not planed. The timber is also kiln dried so all the boards will have a much lower moisture content this also ensures that the boards will be straighter and helps to improve stability.
